Britspace designed and built two modern modular buildings for long stay valet parking guest reception at Gatwick Airport.

Each building comprises of reception area, offices, staff mess area, WC facilities for both staff and public (including easy access for disabled) and a secure area.

Client budget restrictions did not allow for a stainless steel Aerofoil, which was part of the original architect’s plans. Britspace's flexible approach, design expertise and commitment to continuous improvement came up with a practical and cost effective solution: manufacture the Aerofoil in a fibreglass material with a metallic finish.

The result: a cost saving of approximately £50,000 without compromising on the desired striking visual impact.

Through value engineering and our flexible approach to design and manufacture, we provided the client a modular build solution that met their specific requirements.
