The University of Warwick has commissioned Britspace Modular Buildings to commence construction of its new £1.6million nursery facility.

The 770m² educational facility is designed to provide a BREEAM Very Good rating and house 3 key areas, these include a student cafeteria, a children’s centre for 3-5 year olds and a nursery facility for 0-3 year olds, bringing students and children of all ages together under one roof. The 3 areas will be clearly identified externally by a variety of differing claddings including 3 distinctive shades of timber.

The new building will be handed over as part of a full turn key package to the University following a 12-week site programme.

The close working relationship with The University, from concept through to handover, will ensure that The University benefits from all the advantages of off-site construction, including minimum disruption on site, with the installation programme being half that of a traditionally constructed building.
